Eastern Area Agency on Aging is currently seeing an experienced Grants Writer. The Grants Writer is responsible for securing financial resources through grants to support the organization's programs and services and enhance its mission and vision. In addition to grant writing, they plan and implement grant programs, prepares budgets, researches funding opportunities, identifies support agencies, and tracks results.
The successful Grant Writer must have exceptional communication skills (speaking, reading, writing, active listening, presentation, etc.) as well as effective analytical, financial and budgetary skills, including proficiency with spreadsheet software. Candidate must have the ability to organize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously with close attention to detail and prioritization to meet deadlines.
This Grant Writer position is flexible 20-25 hours/week dependent on the right candidate’s needs.
